Got a bad habit?
I’ve noticed something recently.
Not in theory, in real conversations with teams.
People aren’t overwhelmed by the work itself as much as they are by everything wrapped around it.
The extra conversations.
The “just 10 minutes” that becomes 40.
The meetings that exist mostly because they always have.
There’s something slightly funny about it, if it wasn’t so familiar.
We create the very noise we then try to manage.
So instead of another tip or framework, here’s a small nudge:
This week, pick one recurring meeting and ask a simple question
“Is this still earning its place?”
If it is, keep it and make it sharper
If it isn’t, change it or stop it
No big transformation, just one small shift
If you try it, let me know what you notice
