No Crystal Ball
Leaders often feel pressure to have all the answers. After all, aren’t you supposed to know the way forward? But the truth is, no one has a crystal ball. Uncertainty is part of leadership.
Pretending otherwise can backfire. Teams see through forced confidence and it erodes trust. Admitting you don’t have all the answers doesn’t make you weak — it makes you human. And it opens the door for collaboration and collective problem-solving.
Coaching helps leaders navigate uncertainty with confidence. It’s about learning how to hold space for the unknown without panic. Practising transparency without fear. And finding ways to lead with honesty while still creating reassurance.
Leaders who admit they don’t know everything don’t lose respect — they often gain it. Because their teams see them as real, relatable and trustworthy. And in uncertain times, trust matters more than any illusion of control.
Want to lead with confidence, not perfection? Let’s talk.
